Come and See Us at Global Birdfair 2026
We’re really looking forward to heading back to Global Birdfair this July.
After such a fantastic few days last year, we couldn’t wait to sign up again. So, from 10th–12th July, you’ll find the Hebridean Adventures team back on Stand S28 at Lyndon Top, Rutland.
Last year was our first time exhibiting and it exceeded all our expectations. We met so many people who share our love of wildlife, photography and the Hebrides, had some brilliant conversations, and it was great to put faces to names. It made the long journey south well worth it.
This year we’re back with an even bigger team. David and Linda, James and Myrsini will be joined by Chris Gomersall, so whether you’re already planning a trip with us, curious about what we do, or simply want to chat about wildlife in the Hebrides, we’d love to see you. Please do stop by and say hello.
As well as spending time on the stand, James and Chris will also be taking to the lecture stages during the weekend.
On Saturday 11th July at 2.00pm, Chris Gomersall will be speaking on the Avocet Lecture Stage. His talk, The Last Slender-billed Curlew – Witnessing an Extinction, tells the story of his encounter with, and photographic record of, what is believed to have been the last Slender-billed Curlew, at Merja Zerga in Morocco in February 1995.
Then on Sunday 12th July at 2.30pm, James Stevens will be speaking on the Curlew Lecture Stage. His talk, Whales and Dolphins of Scotland’s Hebrides, explores what makes the Hebrides such a cetacean hotspot, showcasing through stunning film and photography the incredible variety of species found in these waters.
If you’re planning to visit Global Birdfair, we’d love you to drop by Stand S28. Whether it’s to ask about our trips, swap wildlife stories, or simply say hello, it’ll be great to see you.
See you there!
