This extended half-day trip leaves Stornoway Harbour and heads out into the Minch for approximately 4 hours. Our crew will use their local knowledge to search the most likely spots for whale, dolphin and seabird activity that our guides can show and tell you about.
After a wildlife briefing at our booking office, we head to the boat and depart Stornoway Harbour. We will head along the coast and our skipper and guides will use their knowledge to search the local hot-spots for some of the areas amazing wildlife to view. No two trips are the same and you are practically guaranteed to see a variety of species; you are likely to encounter seals and seabirds including puffins and possibly even eagles! Watch out for porpoises too and you never know what else may surprise us on the day - whales and dolphins visit nearby! You are welcome to bring your own early lunch and snacks if you wish. We will have tea and coffee for you.
