Join Hidden Hebrides - the specialists in Scottish island walking holidays, on a tour of the Small Isles of Rum, Canna, Eigg and MuckENQUIRE
Rum, Canna, Eigg and Muck - collectively known as the Small Isles - are some of the finest islands in the Inner Hebrides and neighbours to the Isle of Skye to the North. All unique, all very different, each island has its own distinct character and range of hiking options, views and wildlife. There is no better way to explore these fabulous islands than by having your own boat so you can access remote locations...and this is exactly what we will provide on this exciting new holiday in collaboration with our friends at Hidden Hebrides who are leading this trip. In their own words... "During the week we will be based on board the comfortable MV Monadhliath, originally a fishing vessel but now lovingly converted into a specialist live-aboard wildlife watching and coastal cruising vessel. With the freedom of our own boat we will be able to explore secluded anchorages, hidden bays and spectacular coastlines that are unreachable by any other means. Note that the itinerary below is a guide - when visiting any islands you are always subject to the vagaries of the weather, and this is even more true in the case of the Small Isles. We will try to keep to the itinerary where we can, but be prepared for changes if the weather is wild!"
Experience adventure by climbing An Sgurr, a dramatic rocky peak and the highest point on the Isle of Eigg.
Orval is one of Rum's wonderful smaller peaks with sensational views to both the Rum and Skye Cuillin mountains.
Search for dolphins and basking sharks around Rum and Canna.
Explore the fabulously varied coastline of Canna.
